Hunter Water was facing a big challenge. The data was clear… as a community the people of the Hunter are great at saving water in times of drought but when it’s raining outside, it’s a different story. We needed to remind them that ‘Every Day is a Good Day to Save Water.’

Problem
Hunter Water has been communicating the same message for years and the audience had become complacent. The challenge was to achieve improved cut-through using the same core information.
SOLVD
By applying technology to the creative and vice versa, SOLVD developed a campaign that’s dynamic, responsive, and designed to make an impact. This tech-driven approach integrates seamlessly with the creative execution, which centres around the strategic insight — people don’t see the need to save water when we’re not in drought, but it’s just as important.
Evolving the Campaign
SOLVD partnered with Hunter Water to deliver the 25/26 chapter of the campaign Every Day is a Great Day to save Water applying learnings form the original rollout to create an even stronger, more refined execution.
SOLVD refreshed the creative with a new storyline while retaining the campaign’s core strategic insight: water conservation should remain top of mind in all conditions. The work remained weather-driven at its core, with creative dynamically programmed to respond to real-time conditions, serving rainy-day messaging when it rains and sunny-day messaging when the weather clears.
The campaign was rolled out across TV, radio, outdoor socials & digital channels, ensuring consistent messaging across channels while allowing creative to adapt in real time. By evolving the campaign rather than reinventing it, SOLVD helped Hunter Water continue the conservation conversation, reinforcing a message designed to endure beyond a single campaign.
